Tammy J. Kavanaugh Questions or comments assessor@bataviatownship.com I would like to introduce myself. I am Tammy J. Kavanaugh, your Batavia Township Assessor. I have served as your Assessor since 1998 and prior to that I was employed in this office since 1994. I hold a CIAO (Certified Illinois Assessing Office) designation and attend continuing education classes annually. I chose to run for office because I recognized the concerns of the people in our community. The most important function of this office is to serve you, the tax payer. I am a compassionate and understanding person ready to listen to your concerns and answer your questions. During my term I have implemented this web site. It allows access to property information twenty four hours a day. I feel that public awareness is pertinent to this office. As your Assessor I would like to thank you for giving me the opportunity to serve my community. I take pride in my position and look forward to serving you for years to come.
