Tammy
J. Kavanaugh is your Batavia Township Assessor She has served as
your Assessor since 1998, and prior to that was employed in this
office since 1994. She holds a CIAO (Certified Illinois Assessing
Officer) designation and attends continuing education classes
annually.
She chose to run for office because she recognized the concerns
of the people in our community. The most important function of this
office is to serve you, the taxpayer. She is a compassionate and
understanding person ready to listen to your concerns and answer
any questions you may have.
During her term she has implemented our web site. It allows
access to property information 24 hours a day. She feels that
public awareness is pertinent to this office.
As your assessor she would like to thank you for giving her the
opportunity to serve her community-and you! She takes pride in her
position and looks forward to serving you for years to come.
She is a proud mom of two daughters, Riley and Kaley. They are
the joy in Tammy's life.
